Both Finish 4th Overall
Orlando, Fl May 22, 2005- First Endurance triathletes Heather Gollnick and Michael Lovato were both first Americans to finish the Disney ½ Ironman. Gollnick and Lovato were both fourth (in the men's and women's races) in a stacked International field.
Heather Gollnick was once again impressive in her ability to race with the best athletes in the World while being a mother of three. Michael Lovato has established himself as the most consistent and best finisher among all US long distance triathletes. The Disney ½ Ironman is the third race this year where Lovato has placed in the top 5 against strong International fields. Lovato is using a strong early season foundation to make a run at a top finish in Kona for the World Championships.
