Phoenix, Az April 10th, 2005- Ironman Triathlete Michael Lovato took an impressive 2nd place finish at the Ironman Arizona. The Inaugural event featured 1,800+ athletes from 25 countries and a $75,000 pro prize purse. Using a balanced attack Lovato finished 2nd to German standout Faris Al-Sultan (3rd place at the Hawaii Ironman in 2004).
"Since starting on First Endurance products I have trained harder and longer than previous years and still feel great. I began my training quite late this year and was forced to increase my volume very rapidly to over 32 hours per week and was amazed how well I recovered." Explains Lovato. First Endurance Ironman Triathlete Heather Gollnick took 6th in the women's race which featured Ironman champions Kate Major, Desiree Ficker and Ute Mueckel. Gollnick has been one of the most consistent Pro Ironman finishers over the last three years.
