December 10, 2003-First Endurance is proud to announce that they will supply Optygen and Ultragen (which will be launched January 2004) to the Sierra Nevada professional cycling team for the 2004 racing season. The Sierra Nevada team is a group of elite athletes based in Northern California who are competing at both the regional and national level. The team was the most successful professional male team in California/Nevada in 2003 and is one of the top Division III teams in the country.
The Sierra Nevada professional cycling team will dominate regional races and the team's athletes are certain to be serious contenders for podium finishes in national race calendar events. The team has a number of Olympic-caliber riders who will be focusing on the Olympic games in Athens this summer.
Sierra Nevada team rider Chris McGovern notes: "Optygen allows a huge capacity for workload and recovery. Basically no matter how hard of an effort I put in, I experienced higher power output at lower heart rate values! Optygen allows me to come back for more!"
