Salt Lake City, UT – March 20, 2003— Steve Larsen received a bottle of OPTYGEN last year at a triathlon. He added it to the pile of other "stuff" he gets wherever he goes, went home and didn't think anything about it. After a few months, he decided to try the red capsules in the glass bottle. It didn't take long for him to contact First Endurance to learn more about the Company once he started to experience the benefits of OPTYGEN himself. After months of talking with the research and development department at First Endurance, Steve joined the Company.
Larsen has world titles in four cycling disciplines: road, mountain bike, cycle-cross and track racing. While most athletes would be satisfied with this unparalleled feat, Steve isn't. There's one event left that he is focused on now-triathlon. Larsen, in his typical style, won the first Ironman Triathlon he competed in (2001) by almost half an hour. He started the 2003 season off by placing sixth at the Australian Ironman and crushed the bike leg record along the way.
