Professional Cycling Team
January 15, 2003- First Endurance is proud to announce that they will be the official supplement suppliers for the Navigators Professional Cycling Team for the 2003 racing season. Ed Beamon, the team Director Sportif, tried OPTYGEN himself during a few 2002 races and said: "I have really surprised myself with the strength and recovery that I have exhibited. I raced the elite race in NYC, and the first 45 miles of the Saturn Cycling Classic (before I had to get in the car to take over my real responsibilities). In both events, I was amazed at how strong I felt, especially having not raced in awhile. I think OPTYGEN allowed me to maximize the benefit of limited training time and improved my preparation for the hard efforts of racing." Beamon then went on to comment on Burke Swindlehurst's improvements since he started taking OPTYGEN "I have never seen Burke so strong. He was incredible in Colorado (where he got 2nd in the 2002 Saturn Cycling Classic). We discussed the probability that his use of OPTYGEN has enabled him to train harder and obviously race more effectively and with greater confidence." Burke Swindlehurst, who just finished his most successful racing season to date, notes: "OPTYGEN definitely has been a great help to me this season. There's not a single bit of doubt in my mind that it works."
The Navigators Professional Cycling Team will be racing in its 10th season as a UCI TT2 in 2003. The team's goals for 2003 include all of the major North American events and the Pro Cycling Tour (US), as well as an increased presence in the European peloton. Following their most successful season to date, the Navigators squad is poised to continue generating top competitive results and team exposure during the 2003 season, and beyond.
Navigators racked up over twenty wins in the 2002 race season, including the prestigious 2002 First Union USPRO Championship in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They also put a rider on the podium on more than eighty different occasions.
